SBGR AD 2.20 LOCAL AERODROME REGULATIONS
|
|
|
a. Preferential Runway System
a.1. In weather conditions with tail wind component not greater than 6 knots, the preferred runway system will be
10R/10L. Such a system will normally be used in preference to the 28L/28R runway system, provided that the runway surface is dry.
a.2. When the runway system in use is 10R/10L with tail wind component, as per item 1.1.1, pilots requesting authorization
to use the 28L/28R system must consider that their arrival or takeoff may be delayed.
a.3. In order to optimize aerodrome air traffic flow, runways are operated as follow:
- RWY 10R/28L preferential use for landing.
- RWY 10L/28R preferential use for take-off.
a.4. Pilots shall adjust landings and take-off to ensure Minimum Runway Occupancy Time (MROT).
b. Arrival
b.1. Pilots are reminded that high speed taxiways from the landing runway enables ATC to apply minimum spacing on final approach that will achieve maximum runway utilization and will minimize the occurrence of “go-around”. All arrivals are to ensure that they are fully vacated before stopping. During the arrival, pilot must select an appropriate and achievable Rapid Exit Taxiway (RET) to ensure MROT.
Distance from threshold to RET (m)*:
10R
BB: 1840 CC: 2450
10L
FF: 2840
28R
DD:2340
* Distances calculated to begin turnoff at 50 kt.
b.2. Pilots should clear the runway completely (holding point markings) before decelerating to taxi speed and hold short of the adjacent parallel runway at the holding point allocated by the TWR.
c. Departure
c.1. Pilots should be ready for departure when reaching the holding point. If not, advice ground control. When cleared to
line-up or take-off, pilots shall ensure, considering safety, that they are able to proceed expeditiously.
c.2. Unless otherwise instructed, Pilots are encouraged to take advantage of “intersection takeoffs” to ensure minimum runway occupancy time.
c.3. Aircraft category A, B and C must be prepared to take off from RWY 10L at intersection with TWY Hotel when required. Distance available 3400 m.
c.4. Aircraft category A, B and C must be prepared to take off from RWY 28R at intersection with TWY Papa when required. Distance available 3460 m.
d. Exiting the runway
d.1. The RET have an acute angle with the runway. They
allow leaving the runway with higher speeds. The RET at
SGBR are:
RWY 10R: BB and CC
RWY 10L: FF
RWY 28R: DD
d.2. The maximum design speed of these RET is 50 kt when exiting the runway
e. Crossing the runway
e.1. Once clear to do so, pilots should proceed expeditiously.
e.2. Single engine operations must not be used prior to cross RWY
e.3. After full vacating of the runway, aircraft must hold short of the adjacent parallel runway at the holding point allocated by the Control Tower.
e.4. Arriving aircraft waiting before the runway must remain on the TWR frequency
e.5. Aircraft vacating runway after landing must NEVER cross the adjacent parallel RWY without first receiving specific ATC clearance.
e.6. After landing RWY 10R/28L contact the ground control frequency only after the RWY 10L/28R has been crossed and vacated.
|
2 Segregated operations under VMC
|
a. Segregated operations under VMC may be applied in RWY system 10/28, with use of visual separation.
b. Aerodrome operational minima for segregated operations under VMC are ceiling of 1000 ft and visibility of 5000 m.
c. Segregated operation information and IAC in use will be available via ATIS/D-ATIS or, in the case of unavailability of it, via VHF.
d. During segregated operations under VMC, pilot-incommand SHALL:
d.1. Inform TWR if visual references are lost on final approach. Not reporting will indicate to ATC that pilot in command has visual references below 1000ft and visual separation will be applied in case of go-around.
d.2. Maintain visual separation with the aircraft departing from the adjacent parallel RWY, in case of go-around;
d.3. Maintain the other aircraft in sight until it is not essential traffic anymore;
d.4. Observe wake turbulence separation when instructed to maintain visual separation;
d.5. Inform ATC, if deemed additional separation is needed, due to wake turbulence; and
d.6. Include, immediately after call sign, the code “HEAVY” or “SUPER”, as applicable, for aircraft of wake turbulence category HEAVY, in the first contact with ATC.
e. Segregated operations under VMC may be applied when the departure and missed approach trajectories are divergent by at least 15 degrees;
f. Segregated operations under VMC may be applied when wake turbulence of the aircraft in final approach is not classified as HEAVY; and
g. Segregated operations under VMC may be applied when wake turbulence of the departing aircraft from RWY 28 is not classified as HEAVY.
|
|
a. Phraseology to be applied in segregated operations under VMC in the case of go-around
a.1. Information to be provided to the aircraft performing goaround:
ATCO
(Traffic Id), traffic, (Type), departing on runway (10L/28R), maintain visual separation, caution wake turbulence (quando cabível) ou/
ATCO
PTATC, traffic, B757 departing onrunway 10L, maintain visual separation, caution wake turbulence.
a.2. Information to be provided to the departing aircraft:

|
|
a. The minimum ATS surveillance minima at the approach final will be of 3NM.
b. Application of reduced runway separation minima at SBGR
RRSM may be applied between a departing aircraft and a subsequent landing aircraft, between two departing aircraft on the same runway or between two landing aircraft on the same runway, provided that:
I) During daylight, starting 30 minutes after sunrise and up to 30 minutes before sunset.
II) Wake turbulence separation shall be applied;
III) Visibility shall be at least 5 km and ceiling shall not be lower than 300 m (1000 ft);
IV) Tailwind component shall not exceed 3 kt;
V) Minimum separation continues to exist between two departing aircraft, immediately after take-off of the second aircraft;
VI) The braking action shall not be adversely affected by runway contaminants such as ice, slush, snow and water; and
VII) RRSM application information shall be included in the ATIS message.
The RRSM will be applied when the runway in use is still occupied by other traffic, provided that there is reasonable certainty that the following separation distances will exist.
1. RWY 10R/28L
LANDING AFTER LANDING: The preceding aircraft has passed a point at least 2400 m from the runway threshold (TWY CC entrance for RWY 10R or TWY G entrance for RWY 28L) and it is in motion and clears the runway without backtracking.
LANDING AFTER DEPARTURE: The preceding aircraft passed a point at least 2400 m from the runway threshold (has passed TWY CC for RWY 10R or TWY G for RWY 28L).
DEPARTURE AFTER DEPARTURE: The preceding aircraft passed a point at least 2400 m from the runway threshold (has passed TWY CC for RWY 10R or TWY G for RWY 28L).
2. RWY 10L/28R
